This edition was released on July 14, 2023.

Sass Jordan's breakthrough album, Racine, was released in 1992 and yielded the Canadian hit singles "Make You a Believer," "I Want to Believe"--both ranked on Billboard magazine's Mainstream Rock chart. In 1994, Jordan released "Rats," which yielded her first song on the Billboard Hot 100 with the single "Sun's Gonna Rise," and also featured "High Road Easy." In 1992, Jordan recorded the duet "Trust in Me" with Joe Cocker for the motion picture The Bodyguard. Jordan is now releasing Live in New York Ninety-Four. The show was recorded at the South Street Seaport in NYC during the 1994 Rats tour. The band at that time, along with Jordan, consisted of Tony Reyes (bass, vocals), Taylor Hawkins (drums, vocals), Nick Lashley (guitar), and Stevie Salas (guitar). The album features killer versions of classics like "Make You a Believer", "High Road Easy" and "You Don't Have To Remind Me" and included never before seen photos from the 1994 Rats tour taken from Jordan's personal collection. Jordan shares, this is a celebration of the early days in the career of Hawkins, future Foo Fighters drummer. Jordan says, "As we hit the milestone that marks one year since Taylor left us, I wanted to do something to honor his memory--a recognition and appreciation for his glorious, big, beautiful energy--which lives on through this recording and in all of our hearts."

From Sass Jordan comes Tell Somebody, a rock and pop album on Imports. While she has touched upon Blues over her 40-year career, this is the first time she has focused exclusively on creating an album of songs in this tradition, that showcase her talent as a Blues singer. As Jordan acknowledges: ''The blues has always been a huge part of my life. It's a big part of what I grew up with. It's been there through my entire career.'' Her first blues album arrives in raw, earthy style on the magnificent Rebel Moon Blues, to be released on Friday, March 13 on Stony Plain Records. Co-produced with D#, it's the Juno Award-winner's ninth studio album and first release in nearly a decade. More crucially, it's also a watershed that charts a new course in Jordan's musical voyage while tracing her love of the blues back to its source. The album features eight songs, freshly interpreted and given the Sass Jordan treatment with her band the Champagne Hookers: guitarists Chris Caddell and Jimmy Reid, bassist Derrick Brady and drummer Cassius Pereira, augmented by blues harp master Steve Marriner and keyboardist Jesse O'Brien.

From Sass Jordan comes Rebel Moon Blues, a rock and blues album on Stony Plain Music. Sass released Racine, her sophomore album in 1992. Hits with "Make You a Believer", "I Want to Believe", "You Don't Have to Remind Me" and "Goin' Back Again". Sass Jordan explains Racine Revisited: "Re-recording such a landmark album was not a venture that we took lightly, because once you release your music to the world, it becomes the emotional property of anyone who connects with it, and rightly so. I have personally heard from so many of you about what it meant and still means to you, and I am humbled and amazed yet again by the power of music to soothe the soul and fire up the engines! We wanted to be true to the original recording, but to do something we had never heard of before... and this is what we came up with, after talking to the birthday baby, Racine herself! Instead of doing the obvious, and updating the vibe, bringing it up to the sound of today's recordings, and making it all shiny, sparkly, hissy and huge - why don't we recreate the record as if we were IN the '70's, and try to make it sound like it would have if it had been recorded during that seminal decade - where the original recording drew it's roots from? What would THAT be like? Racine was reborn living and working together at the fabulous OCL Studios in Calgary, Canada, and not one note was tampered with in the fashion of today. This edition was released on June 3, 2022.

While Sass Jordan is celebrated as a multi-platinum selling premiere rock singer, her 2020 album, Rebel Moon Blues, demonstrated that she sings the blues with as much power and authenticity as she personified in the rock world. Following up on the rave reviews garnered by Rebel Moon Blues, Sass continues to mine her talent as a blues singer with 8 new tracks on Bitches Blues, dropping June 3, on Stony Plain Records. Reflecting on the impact the past two years has had on us all, Sass has recorded songs that examine the visceral emotional territory of a pandemic, and the multiple conflicts that the world is reeling from in the aftermath. "Still Alive and Well' is Sass's triumphant take on a Rick Derringer song that leads off the album. Her original song, "Still The World Goes Round" marks the mid-point with a look at power structures, both within and without, while another new creation "Change Is Coming" ends the collection with a trance-like chant that offers an uplifting perspective. As we have come to expect from Sass, the album features fierce guitar licks, driving tempo's, the raw and soulful Sass Jordan rasp, and a glorious assortment of rambling road dogs, known as the Champagne Hookers. This particular collection of Hookers includes long time associates and rebel rouser guitarists Chris Caddell and Jimmy Reid, drummer Cass Pereira, keyboardist Jesse O'Brien and the magnificent Mr. Steve Marriner on bass and harmonica.

Side 1: 1.
