From 2Pac comes R U Still Down, a hip-hop & rap album on Interscope Records. This is the CD edition, a 2-disc set. This edition was released on March 20, 2012.

Influential rapper Tupac Shakur (a.k.a. 2Pac) topped the charts with singles such as "California Love" (with Dr. Dre) and albums totaling over 13 million units sold in the U.S. alone. More than just a musical figure, 2Pac appeared in films (Poetic Justice, Gridlock'd, etc.) and made the covers of Vibe and Rolling Stone. Despite his untimely death, 2Pac left an impressive body of recorded work; this double CD/cassette release presents 100+ minutes of rare and unreleased songs from Tupac's personal vault. 1st single/video: "I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto." 26 cuts of "gangsta rap" that only increase in doom when you realize the guy talking it didn't live to laugh about it. Perhaps he now knows the answer to his question, "I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto," which shows up here twice. Shakur, like most hard rappers, liked to sound tough, kicking it with song titles unprintable in a family newspaper. But, underneath the braggadocio, there was fear. "Only Fear of Death," "Nothing to Lose," and "I'm Losin' It" tell a far different story than "Fake Ass Bitches." His artistry could never, however, catch up to the sad fate of his life. --Rob O'Connor
