The Boomtown Rats, a UK sensation in the 1970s, captivated audiences with their mature new wave sound and relatable narratives. Led by Bob Geldof, they topped UK charts with hits like 'Rat Trap' and 'I Don't Like Mondays'. 'THE FIRST 50 YEARS: SONGS OF BOOMTOWN GLORY', available on vinyl and CD, showcases the band's career highlights, selected by the group themselves.
