Bryan Ferry – The Jazz Age CD

From Bryan Ferry comes The Jazz Age, a jazz album on BMG Rights Managemen. This is the CD edition. This edition was released on April 10, 2026.

The Bryan Ferry Orchestra -"The Jazz Age" / Step into a world where classic art‑pop meets the roaring 1920s. The Jazz Age reimagines Bryan Ferry's Roxy Music and solo catalog as elegant jazz instrumentals, presented by the Bryan Ferry Orchestra. From "Virginia Plain" and "Do the Strand" to "Love Is the Drug" and "Avalon," each track is transformed through authentic 1920s-style arrangements featuring banjo, clarinet, muted trumpet, baritone sax, and double bass, crafted by renowned arranger Colin Good. Top UK jazz players, including trumpeter Enrico Tomasso and saxophonist Alan Barnes, bring these timeless melodies to life, while mono-style production evokes the charm of vintage 78 RPM recordings. Ferry himself steps back from vocals to serve as conductor and producer, curating this inventive project born from his love of jazz and curiosity about how his songs would stand without singing. Available on CD in a Japanese-style oversized sleeve.
