Cat Stevens Foreigner (LP Limited Edition) Imported Foreigner Vinyl, released in 1973, was Cat Stevens 's fifth LP from Island Records and represents the adventurous and risky streak of his character. Moving away from its predominantly acoustic sound, the album saw Cat explore his love of R&B and Soul music as it can be heard on the album's lead single, "The Hurt". Engraved largely in Jamaica with a band of stars and the first disc produced exclusively by Cat himself, Stranger is deep, funky and packed with layers of meaning. Recently remastered, Stranger will be reissued in 7oz blue vinyl with 12 letter card replica paper.
