From Charlie Poole comes The Complete Paramount and Brunswick Recordings 1929, a folk album on Tompkins Square. This is the CD edition. This edition was released on April 30, 2013.

With three-finger banjo syncopation, twin fiddles and a barrel of energy, Charlie Poole was an innovator of the early bluegrass scene that had a little more jazz appeal than the music has today. These fully remastered recordings from 1929 offer a special insight into a nearly lost art form.
