From Danish String Quartet comes Last Leaf, a classical album on Ecm Records. This is the CD edition. This edition was released on September 29, 2017.

Widely recognized as the most exciting string quartet of the present moment, these young players bring new insights to contemporary composition and core classical repertoire. In parallel, they have also made surprising, impressive forays into the world of Nordic folk music (explored on a 2014 album Wood Works), and delight audiences around the world with concert performances of this music. Now they bring their folk project to ECM with a stirring new recording of immense beauty and depth.
