BSX Records presents a reissue of the classic 1998 electro-jazz album by celebrated composer and keyboardist Dr. Patrick Gleeson and acclaimed wind instrumentalist Bernie Maupin. Take a hypnotic musical ride along the rhythm highway, your nighttime journey sparkled by street lights, traffic lights, rainfall reflected in headlights and cascading moonlight; your bright daylight journey made brilliant by cascades of sunlight and shadow, and the gleaming beauty of color and chrome. Immerse yourself in this influential blend of 1970s fusion and 1990s acid jazz, as AllMusic Review put it in their review of the original album. Gleeson's dexterity with the classic sound of analog synthesizers merges sumptuously with funky beats and the clarity of Maupin's smooth and striking saxophone and clarinet performances. From exciting urban riffs to lonesome country travels, this is a journey that needs never end: just hit the repeat button and taste the intricate, imaginative sonic interaction all over again.
