This debut album exploded onto the FM airwaves in `77 bringing a dose of hard-driving roots reality back to rock radio, but few know that the album sounded very different when first recorded. Beginning his career as a solo act, Thorogood initially cut his first record backed only by drums & guitar. Bass tracks were later overdubbed to give the album the sound it needed for radio airplay, and that's the version of the record we've heard until now. This is the album as it was initially recorded.
