Hollywood Vampires - At Montreux Jazz Festival 2018 - [CD]

Captured during the band's acclaimed performance at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in 2018, At Montreux Jazz Festival documents Hollywood Vampires at the height of their live powers. Featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen, the concert captures the band's signature blend of original material and heartfelt tributes to the artists and songs that helped shape the history of rock music.Originally formed as a tribute to the legendary drinking club founded by Alice Cooper in the early 1970s, Hollywood Vampires quickly evolved beyond an all-star side project into a fully fledged rock band with its own identity. At Montreux Jazz Festival reflects that evolution, showcasing songs from the band's studio catalogue alongside classic rock anthems by artists who inspired them. Recorded at one of the world's most prestigious music festivals, the album moves effortlessly between hard-hitting originals such as "Raise the Dead", "I Want My Now" and "As Bad as I Am" and electrifying interpretations of classics including "Ace of Spades", "Baba O'Riley", "Heroes" and "Sweet Emotion".
