Los StraitJackets - Mondo Zombie Boogaloo - [CD]

Forget the tricks, Mondo Zombie Boogaloo is all about the treats! This monstrously fun Halloween collection unites garage-rock legends The Fleshtones, surf titans Los StraitJackets, and psychobilly mischief-makers Southern Culture On The Skids for a graveyard smash packed with spooky originals and haunted classics. Featuring spirited takes on favorites like "Ghostbusters," "Goo Goo Muck," and "Haunted Hipster," plus the all-star collaboration "Que Monstruos Son" (formerly "The Monster Mash"), the album is a Halloween party soundtrack built to raise the dead. Wrapped in original artwork by Steve Blickenstaff (the artist behind The Cramps' iconic Bad Music for Bad People), Mondo Zombie Boogaloo is a frightfully good celebration of rock 'n' roll's weird, wild side. This album has been out-of-print for years and fetches tidy sums in collectors' circles.
