A WOMAN'S LIFE ON A REMOTE ISLAND WITH HER FATHER, STEPMOTHER AND MENTALLY-CHALLENGED SISTER SEETHES WITH VIOLENCE AND DEGENERACY. In 1982 - a year in which he reportedly shot 13 films - writer/director Jess Franco created this blithely twisted drama that is equal parts Buñuelian black comedy and over-the-top very sexy soap opera: Lina Romay - here in her blonde 'Candy Coster' guise - stars as a pensive young nymph whose life on a remote island with her father, stepmother and mentally-challenged sister seethes with violence and degeneracy. Antonio Mayans (NIGHT OF OPEN SEX), Carmen Carrión (THE INCONFESSABLE ORGIES OF EMMANUELLE), Asunción Calero (BLACK BOOTS, LEATHER WHIP) and Antonio Rebollo (BAHÍA BLANCA) co-star in "the best of Franco's '80s Spanish soft-core period" (Bizarre Cinema), now scanned uncut from the original negative for the first time ever in America.
